filerise

Deploy FileRise as a rootless Podman service.

This role follows the shared deployment role pattern used by other podman based services. It creates a pod named filerise by default, with the app container named filerise-server.

Pristine installs can leave filerise_persistent_tokens_key empty. Upstream generates and persists a token key under metadata/persistent_tokens.key on first start.

Storage

The role persists:

• uploads -> /var/www/uploads
• users -> /var/www/users
• metadata -> /var/www/metadata

Reverse Proxy

The default HTTP listener is 127.0.0.1:8080, suitable for a local reverse proxy. Define filerise_https_listen only when TLS is terminated inside the container.
